This project consists in the deployment of the TetraSpar floating foundation concept developed by SOT and fitted with a 3.6MW Siemens Turbine. The TetraSpar Demo project company is owned by Shell (66%), Innogy (33%) and Stiesdal (1%).
PRINCIPIA is in charge of the design verification of the mooring system and the floating foundation using DeepLines WindTM. This commercial software has been specifically developed by PRINCIPIA and its partner IFP Energies Nouvelles for the design of offshore wind turbines, and used on reference floating offshore wind projects (Hywind Scotland, Groix Belle-Ile, Provence Grand Large…).
